Alithia asks on December 2, 2003, 7:43pm:

I know that this question is probably common, but I searched and couldn't find it anywhere else, so I'm asking. How do I know if I've made a psiball? I know how to make one, in theory, but when I try to make one, I never know if anything I feel is real, or if it's just my subconcious (or something) playing tricks on me. (I read somewhere that the feeling of making a psiball may be created by your subconcious, even though you may not have actually MADE a psiball.)

Rainsong replies on December 2, 2003, 10:54pm:

Good question. The only relatively reliable way is to have a third party (ie, somebody else) feel or see the construct, without knowing what to expect. Otherwise, the possibility of self-delusion is present.

Mystinar asks on November 24, 2003, 4:17pm:

What is the best method for keeping a construct's program from going buggy?

Peebrain replies on November 25, 2003, 12:45pm:

Strong visualizations, and clean "code". I.e., don't say "Self-destruct in 5 minutes" if you don't mean it Smile. Be smart. If it's overly-complex, write it out on paper, and figure out what you want. Program the construct all at once with the information you've sorted out before-hand.

Keyblade asks on November 23, 2003, 4:55pm:

Could you program a construct to go to a target, instead of guiding it there?

Whenever I make a psi ball my hand starts to hurt and the pain doesn't go away for a long time. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Stop making psiballs?

zanzafighter05 asks on November 22, 2003, 12:02pm:

I have this idea to make a big cold psiball as big as the u.s.And i was wondering how high should i put it so it wont affect electronics?Of course im gonna have some help.First im gonna start it in my town then make it bigger and bigger. But i dont want to affect the electronics.Cause i really want it to snow in florida and make the us colder.Got any tips for me or ideas?? ~~~sam~~~

Rainsong replies on November 22, 2003, 7:45pm:

Any effect powerful enough to change the nature of a climate zone is going to mess up more than just electronics. If you want snow, travel to some place that has snow. Antarctica, for example.

Keyblade asks on November 22, 2003, 9:53am:

After you throw a psiball should you still guide with your mind to the target, or just let it go on its own?

Peebrain replies on November 22, 2003, 3:41pm:

I would recommend guiding. Visualizing it flying through the air, and then hitting the target.

skello asks on November 19, 2003, 7:10am:

i know this is probably a dumb question
but if you cant see your psiball and you try and send/throw
it to some one how will you know where it is?
thanking you in advance

Peebrain replies on November 20, 2003, 9:55pm:

Use other senses. How do you know if it's windy out if you can't see wind? You feel it.

triocalas_x asks on November 20, 2003, 7:39pm:

How strong are your strongest flared constructs? (peebrain, rainsong)

Peebrain replies on November 20, 2003, 9:54pm:

How do you want me to measure the strength of it? You mean how visible it is? Mine are usually white sparks... or distortion of the background (like looking at something hot).

peta_jai asks on November 19, 2003, 10:04pm:

If the psi ball is thrown at someone, can i hurt/damage them in any way? Cause i don't want my friends to be hurt when we play "pass the construct" and i imagine it the wrong way :(

Rainsong replies on November 20, 2003, 6:48pm:

Although remotely possible, the chances of accidentally hurting someone else with your psiball is very, very low. Hurting _yourself_ by making too many of them, or simply putting too much oomph into one, on the other hand, is entirely possible.

walnutgum asks on November 14, 2003, 4:54pm:

(this is for peebrain, on my last question)

Yeah I know that flaring means to make is visible but when he asks for two layers,I dont get what it means. Like when he said, make the two layers of psi balls feel the same look the same then spin? what does he mean, like picture the one your making in your head and the one you are making?

You gotta give me an example.

Peebrain replies on November 17, 2003, 5:41pm:

The idea is that you have two parts of the construct. The first part is the actual physical construct in your hands. The second part is just your mental interpretation of the construct. It's not physical, it's just how you perceive the construct. Like thinking "this is the construct that is in my hands" with a picture of the construct in your head. What Evan is telling you to do is link the image in your head with the actual construct. So, if your construct becomes oblong, the image in your head becomes oblong with it. Not after, not before, but it follows right along with it, almost like a mirror reflection of it. Then he wants you to start spinning it, followed by his personal visualization of it. Does that help?
